Life Lately in Spring 2025 -Coloring, A Beautiful Mother's Day, Future Ideas-

 

Hiya everyone, Happy Spring, Happy May, I hope life is treating y'all well and you're enjoying the beautiful weather. I thought I'd do a "life lately" post today! I was very busy last week getting ready for Mother's Day and setting up for that. I also colored some beautiful pages, as seen above, to chill out a bit lol. Coloring is so therapeutic for me. I colored out of several different books including one by Johanna Basford and one by Hanna Karlzon, my two fave coloring book artists!

Mother's Day was so lovely. I spent it with my mom, dad, brother, and grandmother. We had a delicious brunch, ate outside in the beautiful weather on the patio, listened to the birds sing, and I gave my mom and grandmother their presents. I also had painted birdhouses for my grandmother (she loves birds), I should post some pictures of them because they turned out great! That was such a fun and lovely day. 

I've also recently gone to the library and checked out 10 literary fiction novels. I'll do a post talking about those! Some VERY good books in that stack! I want to revive this blog and my other niche book blogs and start posting regularly, even if it's just some bookish art doodles each day. I'm trying to read more but it's hard to concentrate sometimes. A lot of the time lol. 

Anyways just wanted to pop in here to say hello and wish everyone well. I'll be blogging more often now, in addition to my art experiments and endeavors. Make time for everything lol! Have a lovely evening bookworms, til next time, happy reading!
