My First Book Haul of the Year!

Hello dear bookworms! Happy Friday! Today I want to share with you some books I have ordered off Amazon! There's lots of romance and young adult books, so let's get into it!

  • Crossbones by Kimberly Vale- This was originally a Wattpad book that became published by Wattpad themselves, which I think is so cool! This book is about a competition to become Pirate King and to wear the Bone Crown. The book follows three main characters: two captains and one stowaway on their quest to become the Pirate King. I can't WAIT to read this!
  • Kingdom of the Wicked and Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco- This young adult series is about a girl who is an Italian witch named Emilia. Emilia has a twin sister named Vittoria who becomes violently murdered. Emilia sets out to find her sister's killer with the help of Wrath, a Prince of Hell. But nothing is as it seems...
  • The Court of Miracles by Kester Grant- This book is apparently a Les Miserables retelling. Set in France 1829, Paris has just had a failed revolution and is now ruled by the Wretched, a court of criminals in guilds. Nina is our main character and she is a member of the Thieves Guild. The trouble starts when the vicious Guild Lord, Tiger, wants to have Nina's younger sister, Cosette. But Nina will never let that happen! I love books set during this time period and I love the concept, so I'm very excited.
  • King of Battle and Blood by Scarlett St. Clair- Isolde is our main character, destined to end a years long war and protect her kingdom, she must marry the vampire king Adrian...and kill him. However, she fails, and must now learn the ins and outs of Adrian's vampire court. While doing that, she slowly falls in love with him...and she will learn why he chose her as his consort.
  • A Touch of Darkness, A Touch of Ruin, and A Touch of Malice by Scarlett St. Clair- A Hades and Persephone retelling series, this follows Persephone, disguised as a journalist in New Athens. Hades, God of the Dead and builder of a gambling empire, makes a contract with Persephone that she struggles to fulfill. But their love grows...I have heard such good things about this series, cannot wait to read it!
  • Well Met, Well Played, and Well Matched by Jen DeLuca- This romance series is centered around a Renaissance Faire (which I adore!) and each book is centered around a different couple from the book's universe. Again, I have heard such good things about these books and I'm so excited to dive into this cute little Ren Fest world!

Those are all the books I got! I hope you enjoyed and maybe got some ideas to add to your list to buy later. Let me know what books you've been hauling lately, I'd love to hear and get some more ideas lol!
