September Favorites & Wrap Up

The last day of September, can you believe it?! I feel like this month went by super fast. I'm proud of myself for this month, I had several meetings over the phone and Zoom to do (both of which make me nervous, but I did it anyway) and they went really well! I also made myself a doctor's appointment and had a financial meeting at the office. And I even went out shopping (with masks and hand sanitizers) for the first time since April. I won't lie, I was scared and freaked out, but I did it. So, this month was all about getting over fears and improving myself, which I'm very happy about!
I enjoyed seeing the weather slowly get cooler as the weeks went by and now the trees are starting to change, just at the very beginning of green to yellow. I love that about fall; the change, the start of a cozy season, the holidays, the food, the scents, all that.
Let's get onto some of my monthly faves, shall we?
Fave moment from September: the morning our power went out from a storm, so we huddled around candles while the wind and rain whipped around outside
Fave book of the month: The Center of the Universe by Ria Voros. A good book about mother/daughter relationships with darker twists than I was expecting. I only read this book and Lord of Shadows this month (which I hated) so the winner goes to The Center of the Universe lol.
Fave item I bought this month: I bought a bullet journal from Hobby Lobby, which I'm going to show in a separate post and do a detailed explanation of how I set it all up. Very excited for that so keep a look out!
Fave show of the month: Definitely Below Deck Mediterranean. So much drama has gone on in that show and I'm loving it lol.
Fave food of the month: I had chocolate chip pumpkin bread this month, which was delicious, and a pumpkin cold brew which was also very good. And I usually don't like coffee!
Loving Lately: the weather change, the smell of the fresh air, all the pumpkin flavored things, bring on everything Autumnal!
Dreaming Of: a better year next year and working hard on my blog and seeing results
Feeling: Down in the dumps some days but secretly optimistic and hopeful
Listening: to lots of different songs, two faves have been Mask Off by Future and Virtual Reality by rey.
Celebrating: the little things in each and every day and also...Autumn!
What have been your monthly faves? I'd love to hear and get some recommendations! I hope y'all had a good month and will have an awesome October!
Alette
