Hey everyone! Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great and safe week! Today I'm going to talk about my weekly faves, as well as a book recommendation! Let's get into it!

Fave things that have happened this week: Getting inspired for my art, experimenting with watercolor, hanging out with my family, all great things :)
Fave products for this week: I had a blast using rose gold Overtone in my hair. I should do it again and take pictures for the blog!
Reading: I finished When Life Gives You Lululemons, which was a great read! I also started reading The Hired Girl which is so so amazing. I finished a few books about spirituality as well.
Watching: I've been watching the new season of Below Deck Med every week as well as occasionally watching It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia with my dad. I need to get back into watching Harlots on Hulu as well!
Cooking: Haven't been cooking much except for baking gross sugar free, almond flour peanut butter cookies for my dad lol. Those were awful!
Eating: I had the most delicious chicken, rice, and pinto bean burrito from Chipotle last night, YUM!
Drinking: Walmart has these sugar free, calorie free cherry limeade sparkling drinks that are so refreshing and delightful, I highly recommend them!
Coloring: I've been working on art more so than coloring but today I am coloring in The Best of Color Art book I got from Walmart ages ago.
Loving: I'm loving the thunderstorms that we get here, it's been so long since I've fallen asleep in the midst of a storm!
Dreaming: of a time with no fear of the virus, hopefully next year is better
Feeling: hopeful some days, depressed other days
Listening: to Spotify constantly, I must make a new song post soon
Gaming: I bought Assassin's Creed Odyssey, now I just need to PLAY it!

Now for my book recommendation! I finished With The Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo last night and gave it 5 stars! It was so heartwarming and good! It's a YA contemporary about a girl named Emoni and her journey of growth and finding who she is all while taking care of her baby girl, her Abuela, her friends, and community in Philadelphia. Her passion is cooking and she wants to be a chef. Sprinkled throughout the book are recipes and great descriptions of food. I absolutely loved this book and cheered Emoni on through thick and thin. Elizabeth Acevedo is great at writing lyrical descriptions and making a wonderful story. 5 full stars and a great summer read!

I hope you'll check that book out! What have been some of your weekly faves? I'd love to hear them!
