Ice Storm Day & Oscar Picks! -Diary Entry-

Hey y'all, Happy Friday! Hope everyone is having a great day! Today (and all through last night) is super icy, cold, and rain/sleeting out! The windows are frozen over and everything is super chilly. I'm bundled up today in my furry sweatshirt and I made sure I tucked my kitties in with their own blankies in their beds lol. 

My mom has some chili cooking away in the crockpot (I should do a recipe on that sometime) and I'm going to be baking some brownies after I finish blogging! While it's freezing outside, it's nice and cozy inside :) I've just been organizing some blog stuff and making plans. I figured a fun thing to do would be to talk about my fave picks for the Oscars! Let's get into it!

My Oscars Picks

*Disclaimer: I have not seen everything nominated, I'm just doing this for fun and picking what I want to win*

Best Picture: I want Little Women or 1917 to win. Little Women is one of my fave books and I've heard only good things about the movie. And the trailers for 1917 look stunning, I am going to be seeing that with my dad and brother soon.

Best Actor: I want Adam Driver to win, I love him so much. Leo would be cool too because he's my fave as well lol. But ultimately I think Joaquin is going to win.

Best Actress: I want Saoirse Ronan to win! I love her, think she's a fantastic actress, and she deserves to win now.

Best Supporting Actor: I want Brad Pitt to win. I don't like any of the other actors up for it lol.

Best Supporting Actress: I'd like Margot Robbie to win because I love her, but I think Laura Dern will win it and I really like her too :)

Best Director: Bong Joon Ho should win, his movie has done wonderfully well and he deserves it.

Best Animated Movie: Toy Story 4 cause helloooo I'm a 90's kid, I'll always support Toy Story!

Best Animated Short: Don't know any of them, so I don't really have a favorite

Best Adapted Screenplay: LITTLE WOMEN! Nuff said!

Best Screenplay: I'm open to any of the nominees winning this one.

Cinematography: 1917 hands down. I've watched YouTube videos of how they filmed it and it's beyond incredible. 

Best Documentaries Categories: Don't know any of them

Okay bunch of boring categories I don't care about so I'm skipping them...

Best Original Song: "Into the Unknown" Frozen 2 and PLEASE LET IDINA SING IN THE OSCARS!

Makeup and Hair: Maleficient 2 because that took a lot of skill and I loved that movie!

Costume Design: Little Women of course

Visual Effects: Star Wars!
