What I'm Reading, Taco Bell, & Below Deck
Hey y'all! Whew, today is SO COLD!!! I think it's barely above freezing even with a sunny day out. I'm snuggled up inside with my Taco Bell (p.s. the new chicken roll-up tacos are especially yummy!) and am happily typing this.
Today I am super tired and kinda in a "bleh" mood, which I think is because of the extreme cold. My brother Mitchell and I went to the store and stocked up on some snacks and ran to Taco Bell for lunch. I also renewed my two library books today online. One is quite lengthy, which is the book in the photo: The Queen of the Night. This is such an amazing story about a Parisian opera singer and her life and journey to fame and fortune. I won't say anymore about it because I don't want to spoil anything, but if you enjoy historical fiction you would love this book!
I also am reading Once And For All by Sarah Dessen. I LOVE Sarah Dessen and her romantic YA books. They are always so comforting to read and remind me of childhood, I love it! Once And For All is about a wedding planner assistant and opening up to love, which I am all about! Super excited to finish this book (I'll need to buy it too to add to my Dessen Collection lol).
The rest of today I'm going to keep warm, watch Vlogmas on Youtube (my guilty pleasure in December), and maybe bundle up and go for a Christmas light walk tonight when it's dark. I also may get back to watching Netflix and start binge watching a new show, which I haven't done in awhile. Actually, scratch that, I did binge watch Below Deck with my parents this weekend while my dad was resting his hurt leg. Below Deck is on Bravo (if you didn't know and don't watch reality tv) and it's about yacht crews that cater to the ultra rich. It's so good! It's funny, exciting to see beautiful places around the world, and of course, more drama than there needs to be in a work environment. Captain Lee is the bomb! Anyone else watch that series?
All of our Christmas decorations are up now and everything is SO cozy and cute. My mom truly has a gift for making a house a home and making everyone feel cozy and comfy. I'll have to take some pictures and show you guys everything. Including my tree! (although I do need some more ornaments for it). Expect that soon! I should also show y'all the neighborhood decorations as well. Not people's houses because that would be creepy, but the lamp posts and trees in the front of the neighborhood entrance are done up all pretty!
Well, I'm going to end this here for now! I hope y'all are warmer than I am and having a good day! See ya tomorrow :)
Alette
