A Small Haul & Ramble
Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful Wednesday! Today's post is just going to be me chatting away and showing you some gifts I got the past few weeks from my lovely mommy :) It's really starting to feel like Spring here in sunny Colorado. I'm so excited for the fresh air and plants to start blooming! Although, I'm still bracing myself for a surprise blizzard at some point because that's just how Colorado likes to roll lol.
Lately things have been pretty exciting in my life! My best friend is getting married in September and she just got engaged on Valentine's Day. My grandma sold her house in Arizona and tomorrow my parents are flying down there to move her up here to Colorado. She's going to be living with us until she finds the perfect home here in Denver. Lots of change is going on! That seems to be the theme for 2018, Change! Which is good because I need to get more used to change. Change can be very hard for me so the more exposure I have to it, the easier it gets...hopefully haha.
I wanted to show y'all a few super cute things my generous momma got for me the past few weeks! She's the type of person that will pick out cute things that remind her of you and then gift them, which I absolutely love :)
The first thing she got me awhile back for Valentine's Day is this Pusheen coloring book and eraser! Isn't it adorable?! I don't know if you have heard of Pusheen but it's basically this super cute and funny cartoon cat and boy, do I love it! Seriously, if you're ever having a bad day, look up Pusheen online and laugh at it's cuteness!
Then a few days ago my mom gifted me this Coach purse and wallet! Aren't they absolutely adorable? I LOVE anything floral and these flowers are sewn in glittery thread so they look even prettier in person. The little wallet is the perfect size to hold and protect my phone too. I love these so much. It brings me back memories of how much I wanted a Coach purse in middle school and how all the "cool" girls had them. Well, now I have one haha!
But seriously, I'm so thankful for my mom and her delightful thoughtfulness. It's precious.
Anyway, I think that's all for today! I've got books to finish, my bible to study, and an art project I'm working on in the basement. Busy, busy. I hope you're having a splendid day and I'll see y'all tomorrow!
Alette
