Starting Weight Loss Journey!
Hey y'all, sorry it's so late! I'm super tired after a long day of household stuff and working out so I'll make this quick. Just wanted to announce that I finally feel ready to start my weight loss journey and get rid of this weight!
I'm going to take before photos either tonight or tomorrow and post them later on, but for now I'll just give you my stats. I'm 5 feet tall (munchkin status lol) and my highest weight ever was 220. Whoa, yeah I know. I gained a ton of weight from PCOS, binge eating during depression, and being on antipsychotics. Last year I managed to lose 40 pounds and get down to 180, which is great! But I'm still fat, still classified as obese, and my back still hurts and I still look...lumpy lol. So I'm going to try and get down to a healthy BMI and a weight where I feel more confident and healthy.
I don't have a specific number in mind; I think I'll know when I get there. As to how I'm losing weight, I'll be counting calories and doing daily exercise. Ya know, the usual. I'll be eating around 1000-1200 calories a day (that might seem too low, but honestly, this is the only way I am able to lose weight) and I'll try to exercise at least half an hour on the treadmill everyday. This is more for mental health rather than physical health to be honest, walking everyday just makes me feel good!
I'm hoping by November (my birthday) I'll be where I should be. Honestly, I just want to be able to fit into straight sizes again, I'm sick of the measly pickings of plus size clothes! Also I'd like to lower my blood pressure (if possible) and blood sugar levels, so I hope that this weight loss will help with that.
Alright well, I'm sleepy, it's late, and I just wanted to hurry and post this. Let's hope my size 20, 42 inch waist self starts shrinking down! I'll do updates :)
Okay I'll see y'all tomorrow,
Alette
