Taking Time Off When You Need It



Hey y'all! Happy Wednesday! I hope you're all doing great! I took time off yesterday and wanted to talk about why and how that's important.

The other night, I had a really bad night. I always want to be honest with y'all about my mental health to break down the stigma. So, yeah, I had a really bad night and had a bit of a breakdown and was crying and pitying myself. You know, sometimes you just need a good cry and a pity party. I barely slept that night and tossed and turned. 

So, the next day (yesterday), I decided to take the day off and regroup and recharge. And I feel so much better today; I'm so happy I did that! I just wanted to say, it's so important to give yourself breaks and time off when you really need it! Everyone needs time to recharge and get back to 100%.  I know not everyone can just take the day off from work, but try to schedule in little breaks to feel better. Rest and relaxation helps us to keep going and do what we need to do. 

Anyway, I'm having a better day today mentally, which I'm very grateful for. Yesterday all I did was cry, sleep and eat mashed potatoes lol. So today is definitely an improvement haha! 

Well, I have to go and run some errands right now, but I'll be back with more posts today.
