Physical Books I'm Currently Reading!
Hey y'all! Today I thought I'd share what physical books I'm reading! I've limited myself to only 4 physical books instead of the usual 10+ I read at the same time lol. So, here we go!
The first book I'm reading is Bunheads by Sophie Flack. It's a YA contemporary about a young woman who is in the NYC ballet company and how she's struggling to shine amongst the other girls. I haven't read too much of it, but it's great so far and a really interesting glimpse into the world of professional ballet. If I'm not mistaken, I believe that the author was a ballerina as well, cool!
Next, I'm reading American Panda by Gloria Chao. This book is so good! I'm about halfway through it. It's about a young Chinese American girl who is struggling to be herself and live out her dreams while balancing her family's expectations and what they want for her life. I've learned so much about different Asian cultures from this book. And it's very sweet and funny!
Then, I'm reading Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare. This is the second book in the Dark Artifices series. I haven't gotten through much of this book either, but I'm so excited to see Emma and Julian's adventures and struggle with romance progress!
And lastly, I'm reading Radioactive Evolution by Richard Hummel. I was sent this book for free to review, which I will when I'm all finished. I'm about halfway through this book as well and wow! It's such a unique concept and so entertaining. It's set in a post apocalyptic setting where people have to battle for survival in a nuclear wasteland and there's dragons involved! It's a LitRPG book, meaning it's written in the style of a video game, which is what makes it so fun to read. I'll explain more in my review. I'm really enjoying it so far!
