Book Recommendation and Stickers!
"Forever Amber" by Kathleen Winsor
Hey y'all! Happy May! The weather is finally consistently nice out and everything is blooming, yay! Today I'm going to give you a great book recommendation and show you some awesome sticker books I picked up!
So I've been working on reading this thousand page book for months called Forever Amber by Kathleen Winsor. I just finished it last night and WOW! It was a wild ride from start to finish, that's for sure. I highly, highly recommend anyone read this book but especially if you're a historical fiction fan, then I know for sure you'll love this.
I'll give you a quick synopsis and I won't spoil anything for you. The book is set in Restoration England and follows the crazy life of Amber, a beautiful girl from the countryside of England. You follow her journey to London where she rises from the gutter (basically literally) to the riches of Whitehall Palace. Her life is an adventure of ups and downs and you're with her through it all, good and bad. You might hate her, you might love her, but you'll definitely be enthralled by her!
This is the perfect summer read since its a long saga of sorts and highly enjoyable!
In other news, today me and my brother went shopping for Mother's Day :) We got some cute little gifts for her and lovely flowers. At Walmart, I ventured into the crafts section and wow did I find some cute sticker books! I've been a bible journaling fanatic lately so I've been searching for some cheap faith sticker books and Walmart didn't disappoint.
They're called Creative You sticker books and I picked up two of the faith editions. They come with 20 sheets each for less than $3!!! What a steal! Here's the back so you can see several of the sheets:
Super cute! I'm very excited to use these in my bible. So if you're in the market for inexpensive sticker books, pick these up!
Well, the beautiful day is calling me to be outside for a bit, so I think I'm going to do just that. I hope you all are having a great Friday!
Alette
