I'M BACK! Fall Festive Plans & I Won An ARC!
I Am Back Blogging!
Hi everyone and welcome back to Bookish Munchkin! I have been gone on and off for a long while. Too long, really. Several different reasons for this: I am naturally indecisive, I was curious about other blog platforms, I experimented with changing blogging styles, and the pandemic has effected my mental health and made me tired and a bit depressed which equals less blogging. I apologize for this and the confusion it has caused!
I am sticking with this blog on this platform 'til the very end now. I just feel most comfortable with it and am happy to stay on here since this is where I started. My mental health has stabilized this past year and I feel ready to blog regularly again and make something from my little creation! I'm also back to my art and poetry writing, so things are going good!
Fall Festivities
My favorite season is fall! I absolutely love Halloween as well. My birthday is November 3rd so that's another reason I love fall lol. I'm going to be doing a fall bucket list post with all of my autumnal plans, so stay on the lookout for that! Just know that I will be celebrating:
- Halloween
- Samhain
- My Birthday
- Thanksgiving
- The days when the temperature stays in the 70s or below!
- Pumpkin Carving day
- My first pumpkin bread day
- all that and more!
I also have some very exciting bookish news to share! I won an ARC recently on Goodreads! This book is called Edgewood by Kristen Ciccarelli. The cover is absolutely beautiful and magical, so I put it on an appropriately magical tapestry. This book is about a girl on a quest to save her grandpa in the Wood King's enchanted forest...lots of magic and nature abounds in this book I have heard. I can't wait to read it; stories between children and their grandparents really warms my heart! This will be published January 2022!
Final Note
I just want to say how happy I am to be back blogging! I'm feeling much better, my favorite time of year is here, and things are looking up! I will be consistent and have fun with this creative outlet! I can't believe it's the end of September too; October is finally almost here! Lots of fun stuff planned, so I hope y'all stick around and enjoy :)
