Monthly TBR Pile -Books I'm Reading This Month-
Hi bookworms! Happy October! It's the first of the month so you know what that means...TBR time! I keep this list short because...low expectations lol, but I'm determined to read more this month compared to September.
I have two physical books that I want to get finished and they are China Rich Girlfriend by Kevin Kwan and I Was Told It Would Get Easier by Abbi Waxman. China Rich Girlfriend is the second book in the Crazy Rich Asians trilogy and it's pretty good but I liked the first book better. I won I Was Told It Would Get Easier from a Goodreads giveaway and I got the ARC of it! I just started that book and it's good so far! It's about a mother/daughter road trip looking at colleges and their relationship changing.
Two ebooks I want to finish are Lights Up by Brianna Stark which is a romance novella about a dancer and chef. I'm 22% through with it and it's cute so far and an easy read! An appropriately spooky read I'm going to read this month is Into The Drowning Deep by Mira Grant. It's a mermaid horror ebook. I read the novella and LOVED it and I'm loving the full length novel too. High hopes for that one. And a book I've checked out from the library that I need to finish this month is another spooky read called The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson. This is described as a puritanical feminist fantasy and it's soooo goood. I'll write a full review of this when finished.
So that's my list of books to read this month! Hopefully I'll read more, but I'm not going to push it! What's on your lists to read this month? Any spooky, witchy, creepy recommendations I should read?
