Library Book Haul

Hey y'all! Today is actually snowing, wet, and cold, which is pretty weird for the end of May. So, I spent the morning gathering books at the library! Here's what I got and what they're about!

Tiny Pretty Things and Shiny Broken Pieces are both by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton. It's a series about cutthroat girls at an elite ballet academy. I LOVE books about the underworld of ballet, so I'm super excited to read this.

The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed is about a group of misfit girls in high school who start a group and pledge to avenge a former classmate who accused several popular boys of rape. This will be hard hitting and a great read I think.

Everybody Rise by Stephanie Clifford I actually checked out a few months ago but never finished. This is about a girl's rise in NYC's social circle and trying to fit in when she clearly does not. And she has to deal with the scandal her father put the family into.

Not The Girls You're Looking For by Aminah Mae Safi is about a girl navigating friendships in high school as well as her multi-cultural identity.

Becoming Belle by Nuala O'Connor is a historical fiction about a woman's rise from being an ordinary girl in America in the late 1800's to 4 years later being famous and Irish aristocracy. I love stories like these!

Social Creatures by Tara Isabella Burton is described as a Talented Mr. Ripley book but with women. I am SUPER excited to read this!

That's it! I've got a lot to keep me busy! I'll do reviews on all of these when I'm finished :)
