Look, I colored a butterfly!!! Sorry I’ve been MIA y’all, been super busy and tired. Y’all get it. I’m back to blogging and am currently writing up a post so check it out later tonight when it’s up. I’ve been trying to figure out life and what I truly want and need in life and whew, I’m wiped out by that existential shit. Hope you lovely people are doing great 🤗

Hiya, yes I'm back and yes, we have gotten so much snow that I really could have popped out of a snow drift. If any of y'all went through that bomb cyclone of a blizzard...wow! It was crazy and not fun. Our power kept flickering in and out and then me and my brother had the lovely job of shoveling the drifts out of our driveway. Yuck! I want WARMTH! 

Anyways, during my partial hibernation, I was pondering what to do with my blog and feeling like I'm not a very good blogger. For multiple reasons. I decided I'm going to peg my blog into the personal blogger category because I've always felt that while I don't offer rather helpful or informative articles on here, I do offer very personal glimpses into my life and my opinions. I'm not a very good lifestyle blogger because I'm not fancy or do the whole perfect instagram worthy life thing. I don't really have an aesthetic or advice to give people about lifestyle, so why try to fit into that? I applaud the people that can do all that, it's just not me. 

SO! Here I am, a personal blogger. There's kinda few of us in the mainstream blogging world, but I hope to carve out a place for myself. I'll be rambling all about my life, my hobbies, my loves (media, books, food, makeup), my opinions, my faith journey (it's a wild ride honestly), anything and everything that catches my fancy!

As for life lately? My mom is almost fully healed and doing well. I'm very proud of her and all she's been through! I've been doing really well mentally (so far) and just chugging along. I gave myself an unfortunate papercut with a sheet of plastic today and let me tell ya, that HURT! I've been working out like crazy trying to expel some anxiety and stress and have started weight training which is awesome. Other things have been going on but now is not the right time to talk about it. Soon. Hope all is well with you guys and that you had a great weekend. 

Tonight I'm going to watch something trashy on Netflix and eat a few peanut butter cookies I made. See y'all tomorrow!
