It's December! And What Am I Doing???

Hi y'all, long time no see, right? I mean, it's been almost a month since I last posted, so we're in December now!!! Woohoo, three cheers for winter and Christmas! What have I been up to while gone? Well, basically enjoying the cool weather and lights decorating everything, prepping for and then happily enjoying Thanksgiving, and now prepping for Christmas! Of course, lots of reading, coloring, and video games in between. What have y'all been up to? Have fun holiday plans? I'd love to hear about 'em! 

So, here's something I wanted to talk about...What the &$%* am I doing with this blog?! I know the past few months I've been a terrible blogger what with my mental health crashing and making me unmotivated but also, I was trying to be something I just am not. I've tried making this a lifestyle blog with separate scheduled things to talk about everyday, but honestly that's just not me. I'm more of a personal blogger and I enjoy blabbing about life and things personal to me. I want to blog everyday but I want to do it organically and make it fun, for me to write and you to read! So I am hereby declaring myself a personal blogger! This fits me more and it's more fun to blog this way. I'm super excited to start blogging everyday now and I hope you'll enjoy it.

Isn't it funny how sometimes we have to try out different things before we find what fits us? That's what I had to do this year with my blog. January 1 will be my one year anniversary of this blog and wow, has it been a learning experience that I've loved every moment of. 

Some things I'm looking forward to this holiday: my mom's Grinch party! Yep, you heard that right, she's having a Grinch party with themed snacks, drinks, invites, and we all HAVE to watch the Grinch movie (with Jim Carey of course). Will that be interesting? YES! And I'll document it all for this blog because who doesn't want to see a green themed Grinch party? 

I'm hoping to find my voice for this blog this coming new year, but for now I've rambled enough and I'll see y'all tomorrow :)
