Blossoms of Light & Getting Ready for Christmas
Happy Monday everyone! The last week before Christmas, can you believe it?! I had the most special opportunity last Friday to go to the Denver Botanical Garden light show called Blossoms of Light! It was absolutely amazing and so stunningly gorgeous. We went after the sun went down so it was crisp and dark out, with the moon shining down on us.
Up above is a photo of the first light display at the entrance; everyone was flocking to it to take photos and selfies lol. The light show wound its way through the whole garden area and everyone was oohing and ahhing. Here's some more photos:
There were ponds and lakes all decorated and even the tallest, most humongous trees had lights! It was so special and me, my mom, dad, and brother had such a good time. Afterwards we went out to a really yummy Mexican restaurant that was new to us.
This Sunday we had my grandma over for a mini Christmas dinner to celebrate with her since on actual Christmas, she'll be in San Francisco. It was so nice! We had a little turkey breast and mashed potatoes as well as treats and cookies. We exchanged her presents and she loved everything she got. It was really heartwarming :)
Today, me and my mom went to Sam's Club to get some food for Christmas Eve and Christmas day. It was so busy; I was kind of getting overwhelmed, but that's what to expect during the holidays right?
It's been so warm and sunny out this week, that it feels more like early autumn than winter! I was hoping for a white Christmas, but looks like it's not happening this year boo! But that's okay! Well, I desperately need to go and work out and then work in my planner. What do y'all have scheduled for this week? Any fun holiday preparations?
I'll see y'all tomorrow!
