Planner Spread & Why Mother's Day Can Be Difficult
Happy Monday everyone! Today I'm going to share my weekly planner spread (which I'm quite proud of this week, I think it's turned out rather nice :) and I'm also going to ramble a bit.
As you can see above, I decided to do a pink, blue and white theme this week with some cutsie stickers of sweets and plants! As always, the bottom row is left empty for me to fill out at night about the bible verse I studied that day and what I did during the day.
This week is a bit busy with my dad away on business, my psychiatrist appointment on Thursday, therapist appointment on Saturday, and going to see the movies with my mom on Tuesday! I'm really looking forward to this week, I think it'll be fun! (Unlike next week when I have to go to the dentist wahhh!) What do y'all have going on this week?
Today was quite rainy and stormy up until just now when the sun decided to pop through the clouds and make an appearance! Yesterday was Mother's Day and we celebrated with my mom and grandma and it was quite nice :)
Mother's Day can be quite difficult for many people, however, and I just want to assure you that it's 100% okay if you don't celebrate or even feel sad during that day. Many people have had the misfortune of having an abusive or absent mother, many people's mothers have passed away, and many women struggle with fertility in trying to become a mother. This holiday can be super hard to get through so if you need to ignore it, please give yourself that gift and do! And remember, it's just a silly day in the end and doesn't mean too much in the grand scheme of things. So, here's a *hug* to anyone who needs it and *love* to anyone who wants it.
I hope you're all doing well and enjoying the start to what I hope is a beautiful summer!
Alette
