Brother's Birthday & Art Projects
Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog! Yesterday was my little brother's 21st birthday so I spent the day hanging out with family :) As you can see, his cake was so cool and soooo yummy! It was all around a great day and seeing him happy and enjoy everything was great! I'm so lucky to have a brother like him and I'm so proud of everything he's done. I'm excited to see what the future holds for him!
Today has been a chill day; I've mainly worked on my art projects and worked out. The painting above is a celtic/graffiti inspired painting I did. I did a dark green acrylic background with the designs in a regular black sharpie and a metallic gold sharpie. I also used some antique gold acrylic paint to outline the triskelion design. I like it a lot, it's pretty funky and out there.
Here's a work in progress painting. I'm trying out a chunky painting style and am liking it so far. You can't tell in this photo but the background is black acrylic mixed with purple glitter. It looks so cool in sunlight. I'm going for a space theme for this one :)
That's about it for me today! I need to get to reading and do some bible journaling as well. I hope you're all having a great day and I'll see ya tomorrow!
